Chris Dawes gave a different perspective of Jack Watts when he joined Triple M’s Hot Breakfast this morning.
Speaking from New York, Dawes acknowledged the “scandals” that Watts has found himself in but maintained that he is a quality person despite his wrongdoings.
“He’s a great person. He cares a lot about his family. He cares so much about his friends,” Dawes said.
“It’s not the normal footy personality that we’re used to seeing.”
“He is that much more free spirited bloke. I think that’s quite possibly why he finds himself in hot water from time to time.”
The 2010 Collingwood premiership player also spoke about his recent relocation to New York city, catching up with Heritier Lumumba and the struggles of life after footy.
