Former Richmond player Phil Egan says he rates Maurice Rioli jnr "higher than Daniel (Rioli)" at the same age, and that he "desperately" wants to play for the Tigers.
LISTEN TO EGAN:
Egan joined Triple M's Saturday Rub for Footy Mythbusters, at which point they talked about the Rioli family, and Maurice jnr in particular.
Egan - who played alongside his father - told Triple M they're very similar players.
"He's a lot like his dad," he explained.
"He's a bit of a mix, a mix of them all."
Egan was asked about how he compares to the rest of the family, believing him to be better than premiership forward Daniel.
"He's worth watching. I know that South Fremantle have got their finger on the pulse," he told Triple M.
"He desperately wants to play for Richmond. I know that, and I think he can.
"I rate him higher than Daniel at the same time, put it that way."
