Triple M's Jay Clark says two more Victorian clubs have joined Collingwood in speaking to Gold Coast skipper Steven May.
CLARKY NAMES THE CLUBS:
May is yet to commit to Gold Coast beyond the end of 2019, creating plenty of speculation about whether the star defender would play next season.
Reports have circled suggesting the Suns will trade May if he cannot commit long term to prevent another free agency saga surrounding the club.
Collingwood has been linked to May, but Clark introduced two more big Victorian clubs into the mix, telling Triple M's Rush Hour on Friday both clubs have spoken to him.
"We've always thought Collingwood was the club to loom for Steven May," he told Triple M.
"It seems 90 per cent certain, I think, that Steve May will leave the Gold Coast.
"They're almost starting again, that football club."
