Triple M Footy and Dead Set Legends' Jay Clark has named a club that could be in line to court Jarrad McVeigh if he and Sydney part ways.
LISTEN TO JAY-Z:
"Very surprisingly (John Longmire) said on Saturday that Jarrad McVeigh would plan to retire," he told Triple M's Rush Hour.
"That caught McVeigh and his management by surprise, it's fair to say, because McVeigh's playing such good football.
"He wants to play on next year."
JB did say there was a method to clubs retiring players, such as what McVeigh could face at Sydney this year.
"You don't want to wait until a footballer's done and then have to tap him on the shoulder," he said.
"You always want to do it just before."
