This morning, Matt got down to Scarborough Beach Pool to literally be one of the first in Perth to trial out the new attraction.
From the video above, it's fair to say that he's prettay prettay prettay impressed.
As Matt found out, the water in the pool is slightly different that most other pools. It taps into the Yarragadee aquifer (down below), which is naturally heated, so it does not require conventional gas boilers.
This means a 'softer' water, as Matt alludes to above.
The pool, which reportedly cost $26 million, is said to be a game-changer for Scarborough. We have everything crossed.
