Oh what a night!
We’ve started this thing called Hits From Ya Hood, where Matt is challenged to write a song about the suburb that pops up on the chocolate wheel in the studio.
Lucky (mainly for us), Chidlow was first suburb off the rank.
Norm from The Chidlow Tav invited us up to their regular open mike night, where Matt got to perform his tune Chidlow (to the tune “Moscow” by Genghis Khan - as suggested by Dean Clairs.)
It just so happened that, on this particular open mike night, it was compulsory to wear a toga… hence his get-up.
Massive, massive thanks to the lovely folk of Chidlow.
To Norm and Fran at the Chidlow Tavern. Your hospitality was amazing and that Train Wreck burger… Good God!
To the boys at the Sons Of The Lake Cricket Club for the chance to roll the arm over, thank you!
To the lovely people at Forge Farm for the lend of the horses, we loved it!
To Demmy at the Butchers and to Noelene at the Growers Mart, we really appreciated the chance to chat.
To Lake Leschenaultia… stay beautiful!
Keep an eye out for more Hits In Your Hood.
