A massive crack down on Sydney truckies driving in unsafe vehicles has seen police on the lookout for dodgy tyres, windscreen cracks and faulty engine brakes.
Officers inspected over 100 vehicles Roselands this morning, with the blitz also seeing two drivers test positive to drug use.
NSW Police Chief Inspector Phil Brooks told Triple M there's no room for complacency when it comes to road safety.
"Sadly last year, 92 lives [were] lost from vehicles on our roads," he said.
"These operations are all about making sure the state of the fleet is safe when operating on our roads."
