There are reports of internet issues in Sydney, with a cut cable causing outages for certain providers.
It is understood that Dodo, iPrimus and Exetel customers have been impacted by the outage, with issues not expected to be resolved until tomorrow.
Since the outage is only affecting certain carriers, this means that certain businesses are without internet access, despite neighbours in the same building still online.
There are reports that some Telstra customers have also been affected, with the issue caused by a Telstra cable cut during civil works.
Some customers have been told that they will be without internet for another 24 hours, taking it to 48 hours without access in some instances.
"Please be advised that a number of data services in NSW are experiencing continued impact from yesterday's fibre break," a spokesperson from parent company Vocus said.
"Investigations have identified damage to a large number of fibres across four optic fibre cables.
"Third party technicians are in the process of hauling and resplicing cables 1-3. Replacement cable for the fourth cable is being sourced."
