Quad bike riders and industry stakeholders from across Sunraysia are being called upon to give feedback to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission's quad bike safety investigation.
The group have released proposed reforms outlined in an Issues Paper.
The paper investigates a range of possible options to improve quad bike safety, and prevent further deaths and injuries.
The ACCC will be looking to see whether a safety standard should be introduced for quad bikes under the Australian Consumer Law.
From 2011 to the 16th of October 2017, over 100 people died in quad bike related accidents.
Of that number, children under the age of 16 accounted for 15% of these deaths.
The Commission will be making a Draft Recommendation to government early next year, with the First Recommendation to be made mid 2018.
