Cars ploughed into houses in suburban Perth in two separate incidents overnight.
The first happened around 7:00pm in Bennet Springs, when a learner driver lost control of the car she was driving.
It's alleged she was the only one in the car when it smashed into the Bittern Way house, knocking through a living room wall.
Less than two hours later, a 38 year old man lost control of an allegedly stolen Holden Cruz, which mowed into a Thornlie carport and neighbouring property.
The crash badly damaged the carport of one house and caused extensive damage to the second property on Regal Drive.
Residents inside the Thornlie properties held the driver until police arrived and he has since been charged.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the crashes.
