For anyone feeling a bit gun-shy after the apparent teething issues getting to and from Optus Stadium for the big ODI against England, there is another option available.
Perth Racing have announced that pre-paid parking will be available at Belmont Park.
This is straight from their press release:
Perth Racing has confirmed pre-paid parking at Belmont Park will again be available for the Big Bash League Semi Finals this Thursday.
Patrons paid $20 each to secure parking at Belmont Park last Sunday, January 28th which according to Wilson Parking, went very smoothly.
500 parking bays are again available for purchase with precinct traffic management urging early entry to avoid rush hour traffic around the Big Bash game start at 4.40pm.
To encourage early entry, stadium organisers are offering a discount food voucher to the first 15,000 patrons in to the stadium before 3pm.
Big Bash League patrons wanting to park at Belmont Park need to pre-pay and book online. To keep traffic delays to a minimum, entrants to Belmont Park will need to show a physical receipt of their purchase to gain entry.
In line with changed traffic conditions, entry to the Belmont Park is at Balbuk way, which is past the entrance to the Racecourse and over Victoria Park drive.
Gates open at Belmont Park from 8.00am on Thursday, February 1st for pre-purchased parking receipt holders only.
