With AFL Grand Final tickets, flights and accommodation long sold out, it might be a bit hard to be front and centre when the West Coast Eagles take on the Collingwood Magpies this weekend.
Luckily, Perth fans will be able to still sit in a stadium whilst watching the big event.
Optus Stadium has announced that it will open its doors for Saturday’s big game, screening the match on its giant screens.
Whilst discussing the move, Optus Stadium CEO Mike McKenna said it will be the place to be for those unable to head East.
“The first 2,000 will be on the grass, if they choose to, the rest will be in the stands. Great viewing positions, great sounds,” he told 7 News Perth.
Tickets are set to go on sale on Tuesday for $5, with the proceeds going towards Telethon.
