Ladies and gents, get your gold coins on the ready because tomorrow is Prosh day.
For the uninitiated, Prosh is an annual event where UWA students dress up and sell a satirical newspaper (called “Prosh” - funnily enough) at pretty much every traffic light intersection within the western suburbs of Perth.
All they ask for is a gold coin or cash donation for a copy of the rag, which goes to charity.
The event has been happening since 1931, making it an EIGHTY SIX year old tradition. That’s a lot of sensational headlines.
So, on your drive to work tomorrow, keep an eye out for all sorts of characters and costumes. As always, it promises to be a heap of fun.
