Police have made several arrests after dismantling a Hunter drug syndicate.
Officers from the Target Action Group and Drug Unit executed search warrants at 11 locations in Cessnock and Newcastle following an investigation spanning close to a year.
Ten people have been charged with drug offences.
Detective Inspector George Radmore says it's a massive win for police in the fight against drugs.
"This operation will have a significant impact on the drug trade in the area and I commend all officers involved in breaking up this group."
“We will be providing more details and expect further arrests in the future."
