A real-life episode of Homeland's happening in the US right now, thanks to WikiLeaks and what they're calling their 'biggest leak ever'.

The group have published more than 8,000 documents taken from the CIA, including some that apparently detail ways the security agency is hacking into smartphones, computers and smart TV's.

The CIA are yet to confirm or deny the documents are legit, but experts who've started sifting through the material reckon it "appears to be legitimate" and will "almost certainly shake the agency".

WikiLeaks have way more up their sleeves too, they say the overnight publication is just "the first full part of the series".
