Triple M's Seb Costello has taken out a major journalism award last night.
He won the award for Best Radio News at the 2016 Quill Awards - Triple M's first ever Quill Award - for his broadcast of Usain Bolt's epic triumph in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
The award was described by the judges as "smell the sweat" reporting.
"I was lucky enough to win the best Radio News category," he said on his Weekend Breakfast show.
"Good to see (Triple M) up there, getting recognised for journalism. Rock, sport, comedy...and news!"
Seb was also nominated for another award under Radio Current Affairs for his live broadcast from the memorial of Muhammad Ali, but ultimately lost out.
Well done, Seb!
