Five London tower blocks containing thousands of residents were immediately evacuated on Friday due to safety concerns.
There are fears over the external cladding of the buildings evacuated, which was what saw Grenfell Tower burst into flames.
Camden Council made the decision on Friday night to evacuate the residents to make safety upgrades.
Council leader Georgia Gould said the decision was made with the London Fire Brigade and local council experts unable to guarantee their safety.
“I’ve made the really, really difficult decision to move the people living there into temporary accommodation while we do the urgent works to guarantee safety,” she told reports.
“I know it’s difficult, but Grenfell changes everything.”
