Schapelle Corby Confuses With Handbag

Schapelle Corby has surprised, using her handbag to re-direct the spotlight from herself to one of Australia's most high profile missing persons cases.

The Queenslander emerged from her Bali villa with the bag raised high above her head on Saturday night.  Cameras quickly zoomed in on the image of little William Tyrell, prompting reporters to wonder about the link.

William disappeared from northern New South Wales in 2014 and there have been many appeals for information since then.

Clutching the bag tight, Schapelle hopped into a waiting vehicle with sister Mercedes.

Mercedes, who arrived at mum Rosleigh Rose's place at Loganlea on the outskirts of Brisbane on Sunday, has been by her side since her life changed dramatically in 2004.  That was when a large amount of cannabis was found inside her boogie board bag and she would spend nine years behind bars.

But overnight she became a free woman, after her parole period, and she boarded a flight home to Australia.

Schapelle, who is only new to Instagram, posted this video of the crazy scenes in Bali a short time ago.  There was no accompanying comment.  But she has attracted 89 thousand followers already.

Schapelle is only following little more than 100 Instagram users, notably she is interested in what the Daniel Morcombe Foundation is doing.  Daniel was abducted and murdered on the Sunshine Coast in 2003, the year before Schapelle made that ill-fated trip to Bali.
