Five people were arrested after an incident in the Melbourne CBD this afternoon.
Up to six police cars and the air wing followed an allegedly stolen Audi along the Western Ring Road from Epping.
The car then smashed into a police car and a truck at the Kingsway and Flinders Street intersections.
Police were forced to use pepper spray to make the arrests.

Five people are in custody following an incident in the CBD this afternoon.
The five were arrested at the intersection of Kingsway and Flinders Street about 1.10pm.
A number of unmarked police units and Air Wing had been following the vehicle, an allegedly stolen silver Audi, after it was sighted in Epping about midday.
The vehicle was wanted in relation to an ongoing investigation.
The vehicle was followed along the Western Ring Road and into the CBD.
The vehicle stopped at the Kingsway and Flinders Street intersection when it struck a police vehicle and a civilian truck.
OC spray was deployed and the five occupants of the vehicle were arrested.
A pursuit had not been initiated.
