Facebook is making a major overhaul to the way you view your news feed.
The Facebook News Feed will now contain less content from business, brands, marketing and media, and shift focus towards personalised content from friends and family.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the news in a blog post on Friday, saying news and video on the site is "crowding out the personal moments that lead us to connect more with each other".
He believes too often "watching video, reading news or getting a page update is just a passive experience".
"At its best, Facebook has always been about personal connections," he wrote.
"By focusing on bringing people closer together -- whether it's with family and friends, or around important moments in the world -- we can help make sure that Facebook is time well spent."
