The newest email scam has been targeting NAB customers, claiming their accounts have been disabled, then directing them to a fake website to enter their password.
Within the email is a link that takes people to a very real looking website, which is set up to steal customers I.D. and password.
It contains the subject line 'Notification' and has been coming from firstname.lastname@example.org

The bank say they're aware of the scam and have shut down the fake website.

"If you receive this type of email, please forward it to email@example.com and then delete it," they've advised customers.
"If you've received an email of this type and have clicked on the link and entered information, please contact your local branch or call 13 22 65 immediately."
So if you've been caught up get in contact with them straight away.
