The NSW government has recruited the state architect to deliver a report on the work needed to revitalise Gosford CBD and waterfront.
Parliamentary Secretary for the Coast Scot MacDonald and Minister for Planning Anthony Roberts revealed yesterday the Architect will appoint a multi-disciplinary design team this month.
"This (report) will be put together in consultation with all the key stakeholders," says Parliamentary Secretary for the Coast Scot MacDonald.
"The history of the Central Coast is a lot of aspirations but not a lot of delivery, but now with the appointment of the government architect I think we can look forward to some realistic plans we can deliver on."
The report will be presented to Central Coast Co-ordinator General Lee Shearer, who the government recently appointed to implement the Central Coast Regional Plan, in the new year.
