There's been two earthquakes in Pyramid Hill on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The first struck around 11.48pm and was 3.3 magnitude on the richter scale at a depth of 10km.
While the aftershock took place at 4:01am and registered magnitude 2.3.
Residents were woken out of their sleep by a loud rumbling and a large bang - however no damage has been recorded and no-one was injured.
It's the 3rd and 4th seismic event in the state since Saturday after a 3.5 earthquake was recorded in Port Phillip Bay on Sunday morning and a 2.6 tremor was measured at Lake Bolac in the state's west on Sunday evening.
