Bathurst Winners’ Classy Pre-Race Tribute To Fallen Comrade
This weekend marked the 10-year anniversary of the death of Kiwi driver Mark Porter, who passed away after an accident at Bathurst.
Porter left behind his wife Adrienne and a son, Flynn, who was one when the tragic accident occurred.
Today, Holden drivers Will Davison and Jonathon Webb took Flynn around the Bathurst track in the pre-race parade in a touching tribute to their fallen comrade.
It was a champion move that was justly rewarded when they got up and won the race after Jamie Whincup was penalised 15 seconds for his part in an incident that took out Garth Tander and Scott McLaughlin.
