Keeper Commits Epic Blunder Post by: The Learned One 8 December, 2010 - 12:31 PM

Ever had the urge for a hole to suddenly appear in the ground and swallow you up?

If you have, then you’ll be able to sympathise with FC Twente goalkeeper Sander Boschker.

The 40-year-old shot-stopper attempted to clear a tame, rolling back-pass from one of his team-mates during his side’s Champions League encounter with Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday morning.

But an inconspicuous bump in the turf caused the ball to deviate and unfortunately for Boschker he had already committed to booting the ball from its original path.

This led to a ‘fresh-airy’ from Boschker before he watched on in horror as the ball trickled timidly into the back of his net and handed the English outfit the easiest of goals.

Watch the epic fail in the above video!
