Jamie Ness Monster Goal Post by: The Learned One 7 February, 2011 - 1:22 PM

Scotland’s most famous ‘Ness’ might be that of the Loch variety, but that could all change after the most recent edition of the Old Firm derby between Celtic and Rangers.

Nineteen-year-old Rangers midfielder Jamie Ness made an instant impact in the fifth-round Scottish Cup meeting between the fierce rivals with an astonishing strike that can be viewed in the above video.

The sensational goal gave Rangers the early ascendancy after just three minutes.

But it wouldn’t be enough as Celtic fought back to register a 2-2 draw and force a replay of the tie.

Is this one of the best goals you’ve ever seen?
