Cahill: Germany Was "Saddest Game" Post by: CK 8 July, 2010 - 10:43 AM

Aussie soccer superstar Tim Cahill described the infamous World Cup red card match as "one of the saddest games of my life" when chatting to Triple M's Gus Worland.

However Tim's moved on, put some clothes back on and taken the wig off, focusing on his long term deal with Everton putting it out there to the kids "whenever you play well and train hard these opportunities will always come up". Nice one Timbo.

Cahill named best mate, Melbourne Victory's Archie Thompson, as the player he'd most like to take to take to Everton with him if he had the choice.

Tim and his Everton mates are out here in Oz for a three match tour against Sydney FC on Saturday, Melbourne Heart on July 14 and then Brisbane Roar on July 17.

Who's Tim's favourite superstar the world right now? Lionel Messi, the man Diego Maradona declared as his "successor". Good luck with that one Mr Messi.
