Peter Nevill Posts Massive Score For New South Wales
Peter Nevill has furthered his statement from the first day of New South Wales' Sheffield Shield clash with Tasmania, posting a massive score.
Nevill made 179 not out, more than doubling his day one score, as the Blues declared on five for 495.
The 31-year-old's monstrous knock contained 20 fours and one six.
It is a massive statement to the selectors from the NSW keeper, after he was dropped from Australia's Test side in favour of Matthew Wade.
Captain Moises Henriques also tonned up, making 115 before being bowled.
It is a message to both Wade, who made just four runs and may not bat again in the third Test, and the selectors, who made the decision to bring him Wade for his batting.
