Adelaide Crash Out In SANFL Preliminary Final
Their finals series is over.
Adelaide has crashed out in their SANFL preliminary final against Sturt, losing 15.13 (103) to 10.8 (68).
The Crows edged the decifit back to 16 points, but Sturt kicked the final three goals of the match to seal the win.
After a slow start Sturt outmuscled Adelaide all day, winning 66 more disposals and sending the ball inside 50 18 more times.
They were led by Ben Hansen and Josh Hone, who each kicked four goals.
Riley Knight and Harrison Wigg were the leading ball winners for Adelaide with 25 disposals each.
It was former captain Nathan van Berlo's final game in Adelaide's colours.
Sturt will now take on Woodville West-Torrens in next Sunday's grand final.
