Adelaide have decided against nominating Ben Jarman as a father-son selection.

The Crows and Hawks both had the chance to do so, but have both overlooked the son of triple premiership champion Darren Jarman who played 230 games for both clubs.

In all, four father-son prospects have been nominated.

Callum Brown (son of Gavin) and Josh Daicos (Peter) have been nominated by Collingwood, Jake Waterman (Chris) has been nominated by West Coast and Sam Simpson (Sean) has been nominated by Geelong.

However, the Crows haven't discounted recruiting Jarman in the national draft with one of their picks.

“As we have previously stated, we will be true to our talent order, which Ben is part of, and see how the draft selections fall,” Adelaide list manager Justin Reid said.
