Sydney ruckman Toby Nankervis has been traded to Richmond in exchange for the Tigers’ pick No.46 at this year’s draft.

Since being taken at pick No.35 in the 2013 draft, Nankervis has battled for regular game time at the Swans.

The ruckman has only played 12 career games, including this year’s semi-final win over Adelaide.

The Tigers will now hope that Nankervis bolsters their thin ruck stocks.

Richmond are becoming one of the most active players in this year’s trade period with Dion Prestia also joining them earlier on Wednesday.

The Tigers have Geelong’s Josh Caddy in their sights, too.

Ty Vickery departed Punt Road Oval last week and joined Hawthorn as a free agent.
