Sydney and Greater Western Sydney have agreed to a swap of draft picks as the 2016 AFL trade period draws to a close.

The Swans have given the Giants picks No.39 and 52 in exchange for pick No.31.

As it stands, Sydney now have three picks inside the top 31 (14, 17 and 31).

So far this trade period, the Swans have parted ways with Tom Mitchell (Hawthorn) and Toby Nankervis (Richmond) while Xavier Richards has also requested a trade.

The Giants have been far busier with Cameron McCarthy (Fremantle), Jack Steele (St Kilda) and Paul Ahern (North Melbourne) all leaving. Will Hoskin-Elliott, James Stewart, Jarrod Pickett and Caleb Marchbank are all expected to depart Spotless Stadium as well.

Sydney are reportedly interested in delisted Bomber Shaun Edwards while the Giants have Richmond star Brett Deledio in their sights.
