In a suprising post on Twitter, Fremantle midfielder Michael Barlow has walked out on the club.

The message claims that he knew he had played his last game for the club "30 minutes after round 17, 2016".

He goes on to thank his former coaches teammates, before finishing with the hint of playing for another club: "I'm off to find a new jumper, hopefully it fits!"

Barlow finishes his career at Fremantle with 126 games after starting in 2010.
