Wedged in-between Craig Weston and The Big Couch (so that’s 12noon to 4pm weekdays) is "the new guy" at Mix 94.5...Tim Lordan.

Tim grew up in the northern suburbs of Perth, and went to Warwick High School – well, MOST of the time (he still owes a few notes for “unexplained absences”).

After a pathetic attempt at being a university student, he realised: you don’t need a degree to work at a radio station... So he buggered off to start his career at some top WA spots like Carnarvon and Karratha.

Since then, radio’s taken him all over Australia – from Cairns to Brisbane, from Sydney to Adelaide, and now back home to Perth..

Tim loves LIVE music and you’ll often spot him at a venue like The Astor in Mount Lawley, checking out some local talent (eg: he’s seen Eskimo Joe HEAPS!).

If any huge acts are touring WA – good chance he’ll be there too. (He still carries on about U2’s 360 Tour at Subi Oval last year)..

Or of course, a quick lager or 2 in Freo always goes down well...
