Seagulls have ruined many beach outings, either attacking the kids trying to get the chips or dropping a wet bomb from above.
Last night, it was Nine newsreader Peter Hitchener who was under attack!
Hitchener was presenting the Channel Nine news with the standard backdrop - a live camera shot of the Melbourne skyline - when a seagull drop into shot.
As a result of this classic photobomb, the usually-straight Hitch managed to take the mickey out of the situation.
Talk about a new take on the warm fuzzy animal story they normally do before the weather!
Is this the weirdest thing you've ever seen on the news?

How many times have you seen those seagulls "bomb" the footage of the half time review on the ABC WAFL coverage... by "seagulls" I mean idiot teenage kids doing the "W" sign.
