Tiger Woods' First Interview Post by: Dan The Internut 22 March, 2010 - 8:58 AM

Tiger Woods has granted his first one-on-one interview post-'transgressions'.

In the interview with ESPN (above), the champion golfer speaks candidly about one of the biggest scandals in sports history.

He speaks remorsefully about events surrounding the infamous car crash, and the ensuing unravelling of his private and professional life.

"I was living a life of a lie, I really was. And I was doing a lot of things, like I said, that hurt a lot of people," Woods said.

Woods' life has been open slather since November, with a parade of women coming forth to proclaim affairs and infidelity.

"I hurt a lot of people, not just my wife. My friends, my colleagues, the public, kids who looked up to me. There were a lot of people that thought I was a different person and my actions were not according to that." Woods said, when asked about last month's apology.

Thankfully, this interview is a far cry from the heavily-scripted and very awkward public statement last month.

Let's hope that his return at Augusta brings Woods more birdies than birds.

Will Tiger come back the same player?
