My heart goes out to all the victims of this terrible tragedy... with family in the hills here in Perth, I could certainly imagine what damage could be done if the same horrible thing ever happened here... i hope and pray that never happens.

My heart goes out to the victims and the families that have lost there loved ones, I can only imagine how they are feeling. I really hope and prayer to God that they can control the fires, and really look after the firefighters who are doing a fantastic job. I feel really sad today and hope they can get some relief. I think all big companies should get behind them and donate clothes, food etc.

I hope my thought will be forwarded to relevant people. My family is sadden by the tragedy in the eastern states, fires and flooding. The Federal Govt is proposing to help Australians by providing the stimulus funding. Can I suggest that these funds be given towards the fire victims instead. If the funds are given to the people now, I would like to give it back all to the victims affected by the fire tragedy. I would then like to ask everyone who are not affected directly with the fire tragedy to do the same. My husband has been unemployed since his 2nd relapse with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in May 2008. While I am working, it has been very difficult in my household, especially during this economic crisis, but I feel that those monies are required to help those victims rather than giving it out to working Australians. We, at least, have a home, family and our health. This is something for your thoughts. We can all help each other.
