Getting Eggular On The Bunch Post by: Dan The Internut 11 August, 2010 - 10:53 AM

The Bunch getting Eggular over the line on Mix 94.5

Our favourite new word here at Mix 94.5 is "Eggular", meaning egg-shaped (in the same way "circular" means circle shaped).

If you missed it, we asked listeners for any words they've made up, and Simon from White Gum Valley gave us this pearl.

We chatted with Sue from the Macquarie Dictionary, and if you listen to the audio below, we need to prove that people are using it in everyday language.

So all we need you to do is sign up via the form below. If you feel like writing a sentence including the word "Eggular", even better.

I'll start it off... "My golf ball must have been eggular, how else can I explain five putting the first hole last Saturday?"

Sign our blog to prove that we're all using Eggular in everyday language.

Eggular is the shape of a full beanbag, it is also the shape of a properly inflated balloon... Someone should contact the egg packaging companies and talk them into using the word eggular on their cartons of eggs ;o) Or even on "a minute to win it" and get them to add "EGGULAR" into the instruction voice over of their egg games :o) DAMN the ONLY word this spell checker picks up on this message is my favorite new word... EGGULAR!!!!
