Geelong captain Joel Selwood has narrowly avoided suspension and received a reprimand for the shove on his brother Adam.

What A (Mis)Hit

The Hot Breakfast's Luke Darcy and Mick Molloy, from Triple M in Melbourne, discuss the Selwood shove.

Can't Hear The Above? Try This:

"Marie Selwood, mother of the four Selwood boys, do you reckon she would have liked to have had Mark Fraser around the back yard at some stage," Luke Darcy said on Triple M's The Hot Breakfast this morning.

"She would have seen a hundred worse things a day than that."

"She's the only authority they should be going to on this, to sort this out between two brothers," added Mick Molloy.

The AFL Match Review Panel had this to say about the incident:

Joel Selwood, Geelong, has been charged with a level one misconduct offence in that he made unnecessary or unreasonable contact with an injured player in Adam Selwood, West Coast, during the first quarter of the round 20 match between the Geelong and West Coast, played at Patersons Stadium on Friday August 10, 2012.
