Some local Perth surf lifesavers are embarking on a massive effort to represent Australia at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Think Cool Runnings, only Australian.

The latest from the slopes
11 November 2008Sam and I finished 16th and 14th in the two races in Calgary, only a few 10ths off making the top 10. Trav and Beau were 18th and 17th. We are now in Lake Placid to train this week and race next week. Unfortunately our federation mucked up and the 4 man runners that we needed to race in Calgary didn't arrive so we couldn't race 4 man.
Hope all is well, we are hoping for a top ten finish here.
