City of Bayswater says
Mark Sunday, January 31, in your diaries - and head to Bayswater Waves for its annual Family Fun Day from midday to 4pm.
Regarded as Perth's premier indoor aquatic playground, it's a chance to enjoy pony rides, a giant slide, bouncy castle, monster ball, pool inflatables and a bucking bull among the many regular attractions, such as WA's only wave pool and six heated swimming pools.
Live entertainment will come from The Lulus Show at 2pm, a fun-filled interactive learning experience developed by a team of theatre and early childhood specialists using catchy songs, groovy dance moves, larger-than-life puppets and interaction with the audience.
The show embraces themes including empowerment through learning, the need for compassion, sun safety, tolerance, taking care of the environment, sharing, manners, and the importance of exercise and a healthy diet.
Old MacDonald's Travelling Farm will also be on hand, allowing children to get first-hand knowledge of baby farm animals as they hand-feed, bottle-feed and groom them.
Bayswater Waves is on the corner of Broun Avenue and Priestley Street, Embleton. For more information, call 9276 6538.
