• Alzheimer's Australia WA Memory Walk 2010 says

  Honour or remember family and friends with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
  
  Walk, jog or run as many times around the Oval. Each lap is 0.5km. Challenge yourself to a full marathon of 42kms!
  
  Everytime you cross the Finish line, you will be handed a "Memory Flag" to place in the centre of the Oval, at the end of your laps of honour.
  
  How many Flags do we want to plant - thousands!
  
  Register as an individual or get a team together. Come along for an hour or stay all day between 9.30am and 4.00pm.
  
  Want to be the top Memory Walk fundraiser? Just set up your own online sponsor page and email the link to your friends and family.

• Byford Country Market organisers says

  Come along to Byford Country Market on Saturday 18th September for your chance to take part in a kids cake decorating competition judged by MasterChef 2010 runner up Callum. The market runs from 8.30am to 12 noon, and is held at The Glades, Abernethy Road, Byford. Callum will also be cooking for a few lucky winners, who will get the chance to judge his creations.

  Market-goers will also have more than 50 stalls to enjoy, selling a range of fresh produce, arts and crafts. There will be free entertainment and live music, and a variety of refreshments on offer.

  All,

  We need all different shapes, sizes, ages and fitness levels. Our club is more than just gridiron, we also hold quiz nights, car rallys, legend nights, and other functions. If you want to play sport this is for you as well We have a junior team for 14-18 year olds males and females and a senior team for 18+ males. Our club is entering it's second season, and our first season with a junior club. If you are interested we train on Tuesday and Thursday night at Maddington Oval from 7:00 - 9:00 and on Sundays there is optional training as well from 3:00 - 5:00 at Maddington Oval. If you are not interested in sport it's still a very fun club to be a part of, and we only charge $25 for membership for non sports members and this gets you invites to all functions and as much or as little participation as you want.   Willandra Primary School, Chidzey Drive, Armadale are holding a Car boot sale on Sunday 19th September 2010 from 9am-2pm. New and used items are for sale. There will be various activities for the family including Mini Golf Playground, cappucino van, cake stall, surprise wheel, sausage sizzle plus more.
