Old Mill Theatre says
What would happen if everyone arrived 24 hours early for a dinner party?
Thats the question posed in Life x 3, an amusing commentary on vanity, professional insecurity and the changing states of marriage at the Old Mill Theatre this August.
Written by French playwright Yasmin Reza and directed by Eliot McCann, the play is described as a comedy of errors from three different angles.
One of Rezas previous plays, Art performed at the Old Mill Theatre four years ago has been performed in 35 languages.
In Life x 3, we see the same situation presented from three different perspectives, giving three differing outcomes, McCann said.
Life x 3 plays at 8pm, August 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19 and 20 with a 2pm matinee August 14.
Tickets are $20, $15 concession book on 9367 8719 or oldmilltheatre@iinet.net.au.
The heritage-listed Old Mill Theatre is on Mends Street, South Perth, opposite the Windsor Hotel.

St Stephen's School says
Magic, menace and mayhem are being let loose at St Stephens School this August but its all in the name of art.
A selection of the best fairytales by the Brothers Grimm are being brought to life as part of Grimm Tales, adapted for the stage by Carole Anne Duffy and directed by drama teacher Amanda Crewes.
The production is full of all the magic and wonder you find in your imagination with a little pinch of mischief thrown in.
Theres a lot of deliciously gruesome fun as livers and lungs are salted, simmered and served for dinner; eyeballs are pecked out by disgruntled birds and toes and heels are cut off so feet can fit into shoes.
Yet the fairytale heroes still manage to confront their enemies and triumph over fear and injustice.
Grimm Tales plays at 7pm, August 4, 5 and 6 with a 2pm matinee on August 6. Tickets are $10 book on 9243 2100.
St Stephens Schools Duncraig Theatre is at 100 Doveridge Drive, Duncraig.
