It's arguably the biggest story to hit the AFL ever. The phenomenon that is the Ben Cousins journey.
Yet another chapter is revealed when Ben Cousins faces his old team mates and old club West Coast. This is a club that he was so much a part of, their captain, their spiritual leader, their hero.
Of course, we all know that came to a crashing halt, and now Ben Cousins is making his AFL comeback as part of the Richmond Tigers.

I think he will get a standing ovation from the crowd. West Coast supporters are very loyal, and he will always be the captin & fav son.

The media and football administration have exacted more harrassment and punishment on Ben than any criminal case before our courts this year - no matter how abhorent the crime is. Our want to cut down the tallest poppies means that Ben has suffered more humiliation and shame than those that assault and maim others. I hope Ben gets BOG and I hope West Coast (who turned their back on Ben as soon as bad publicity was on ther horizon) get SMASHED by Richmond.

What a great slide show of the events that unfolded for Ben Cousins...and one thing that everyone should remember, West Coast sacked him and then charges were dropped.....WCE let Ben Cousins down and to the club, he was GUILTY before proven INNOCENT! Shame on you WCE...........YES he had issues and a drug problem he's never denied that. Wonder why the AFL wont name the other players that have a drug problem.....I think ALL WCE supporters wish Ben well this weekend as do I but I now support Richmond...GO BEN!

Who really cares, its just another game between two easybeats of the competition. People are better off wondering what ridiculous moves worsfold will come up with and whether they have a game plan on how to kick more goals than the opposition. Stick to a nil all draw, because both teams play boring football, a bit like soccer!!

Yes it is just another game of footy, but wow I think Ben is going out to show the eagles something. I wish him all the best and may he have found a club which will show him the peace that he needs to find. Go Richmond (just for this game)!!!
