Verona Capital and Guildford Grammar School are holding a Charity Golf Day on Sunday, 19 October 2014. This event will raise money for supporting Muscular Dystrophy Western Australia (MDWA).
The funds raised will be put towards the MDWA Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Program, which is a self-developmental award that encourages young people between the ages of 14-25 to develop skills focused around self-belief, self-confidence, community engagement and personal challenge. The valuable skills that individuals develop from engagement in the award are recognised by schools, colleges, universities and employers.
Your participation in this Charity Golf Day and the funds raised will help to leverage more young people into this year’s program. The day will include 18 holes of golf at the Vines, buggies, buffet dinner, good prizes and auction items to bid on. This will be a great day for networking with friends and business colleagues, as well as supporting a charity that can sincerely make a difference to the Perth community.
