I really hate it. Then again i have always hated U2. But this - this is particularly bad. Can we all please forget about these old men?

No i agree with the first guy. Everyone goes on about U2, but to be honest that haven't had a good track for fifteen years. This album is no good.

Killer album from the boys. Probably my fave since Achtung Baby.
Sounds like they're letting go and having a bit of fun.
Magnificent is probably my favourite track so far, but Stand Up Comedy is growing on me & could be number one after another listen or two. I'm sure this album will go far and draws you in for another listen right away.

BE PATIENT. This is a real 'grower'.
I was so disappointed to begin with, but I now see it for what its worth. This is U2 in a totally new direction, a band (again) comfortable in leaving the stadium anthem writing to Coldplay and others. It is NOT meant to be another accessible commercial mega-album.
This album is a challenge - a challenge to ever-impatient music fans who want to like an album immediately. When was the last time AC/DC, the Stones, Coldplay etc. challenged us with anything new?!
This is what sets U2 apart - they are still a band and not just a product.

I've been a U2 fan for over 2 decades. This CD... hmm, can't say I love it, but I can't say I loathe it either... it's just... meh!
Absolutely LOVE the first four tracks, the rest of the CD has left me a little cold, so far.
I really hate to say that I think this CD is their worst to-date, because I love the boys and have seen them live many times.
I guess I should know by now that each U2 album is going to move in a different direction and to just give it time to grow on me.
