At the start of the year the thought of a new Kings Of Leon was a long shot - the boys were busy playing golf and simply catching their breath following the whirlwind of the biggest two years of their lives.
Well, the boys have emerged from their New York studio with a new album under their belts and they'll be releasing it to the world (well most of it anyway) in October.
Titled Come Around Sundown the album will be available on October 18 in the UK and the following day in the US. The video above is one of the songs off the new album called "Radioactive".
"We have actually done things on this album that we’ve wanted to do for a long time," singer Caleb Followill told the Toronto Sun just last week. "I feel with each album, we are getting closer to what we want to do as a band."
This album sees them going in a new direction with varied musical influences. This may please hardcore fans who thought they'd sold out with their last album, Only By The Night. The chart-topping singles "Sex On Fire" and "Use Somebody" made it their highest-selling album to date.
We're still chasing an exact date for an Aussie release but according to their record company Sony it should be out around the October 18-19.
