We had a massive day on the rooftop here at Mix 94.5, with Village Kid winning the coveted support slot for Bon Jovi when they hit town December 8.

The response was absolutely amazing, with over 170 bands entering for their chance to be a rock star with the big guns, playing their music to the masses at Patersons Stadium.

This was massive… this was HUGE… this was a once in a lifetime opportunity! Our astute judging panel, comprising the likes of X-Press editor Julian Tompkin, The West Australian's music writer Simon Collins, and Universal Music's WA Rep Pat Garoffolo (as well as our very own Bunch) got it down to a final 8, and then handed it over to you.
